The Green Movement works with many types of organizations that belong to its network. That network extends across the island and at present comprises of 147 organizations. While many of these have been part of the Green Net for a long time, some are comparatively newer such as those that joined after the conflict ended in the north. The net is comparatively loosely knit and there is no material advantage either expected or promised. Nor is there any “join up fee” for these groups. The Greens provide them all with free technical support as well as assistance when it can in their various activities. Additionally, they also support Green initiatives in their specific areas of operation as and when the need arises.
